If you work part time, what do you do?

Just wondering.

I do love what I do but I need more balance in my life.

If you work part time, what do you do?

I am sure many of you used to put in full time hours and worked your way to your current arrangement, but I'd still like to hear either way.

I feel like there are so few part time opportunities for professionals.

i am just starting out in a new career and most of what i am getting offered is part time work. i joke that i will probably work 2 or 3 part time jobs at this rate for now until i get some experience.

my mom worked part time as a clerk in the library.

I know several moms who do per diem work. One is an OT and one is a speech therapist. Prior to having their kids they were in a FT role.

I also know people who do PT jobs I'm things like HR, billing and book keeping.

I also am going to be doing counseling PT in the near future, but that is for extra money.

I have heard that "job sharing" is also the new thing in some companies.

I am a legal assistant and I currently do a job share. I work two days a week and my cowork works three days a week.

If you work part time, what do you do?

I just started a part time stay at home job in addition to my regular job and I love it. Its only a few hours a week which is why it works great. Pm me if want more info.
