What are some tips to deal with pregnancy sickness?
I wrote this post before the maintenance and it was erased apparently!
I have been having very intermittent nausea- usually after my prenatal (with food) and it's more in the evening. Not bad or actual vomiting but I am worried that it will hit me on days that I am seeing patients. Sea bands have helped a ton and I have been trying to snack.
What are some ways to deal with the nausea other than reglan or zofran?? And where did you get these things?

I get the same thing. I notice that it happens when I wait too long to eat or if I have any empty stomach. I also get nauseous when I eat too much. I have been trying to eat a small meal/snack every three hours. This has helped tremendously. Cold water and fresh air also seem to help me. My Dr also recommended fresh ginger to put in tea or water if it gets worse. I haven't tried it yet.

Water seems to make it worse for me lately. Not sure why! I want to try the ginger but I'm worried it will gross me out. Am I chopping the ginger or putting the whole thing in there lol

I think you need to chop the ginger. You could prob also chop the ginger and eat it. It has a pretty strong taste. I love ginger but never ate it on its own so I am not sure how that will be. lol

Gin gin ginger candies helped me a lot. If you feel you need zofran talk to your OB about writing you a prescription.

I have friends and family who use pickled ginger (it's what is served alongside sushi) if you want an alternative to putting fresh ginger in your tea. I would not recommend trying to eat raw ginger.

What are some tips to deal with pregnancy sickness?
I just learned the hard way not to take my prenatal in the middle of the night. I usually get nausea in the morning when I don't have breakfast right away. I used to eat ginger candy from trader joes but I'm tired of eating them. They did help for a while. My mom says that lemon tea is really good for morning sickness so I drink lemon iced tea and have been okay. Surprisingly, when I feel ill in the middle of the day coca cola has worked wonders it's worked for nausea and heartburn. Hth

I have been drinking ginger ale & trying to snack often (since it seems worse when I haven't eaten). I'm also trying to stick to bland food.

Had nausea all 3 of my pregnancies for 16 weeks, this time the hardest. Sour things like lemonade helped me. Snack throughout the day. Ginger snap cookies also helped.
