I TOLD WORK!
It ended up being a really short conversation. I work for a single physician medical practice, which I manage, and being such a small group of employees, I am NOT covered by FMLA, so I am still very nervous. I'm assuming I will not be able to take much time, we'll see how long it ends up being. We joked a little, he congratulated me. He quickly asked who was going to take care of baby...I said my mom and daycare. I going to butter him up over the next few months and convince him to let me do part time to start with, which I know will not disrupt my work, but I think he gets nervous about. Ahh, it was like ripping off a bandaid!

I TOLD WORK!
Aw congrats. Not sure why but telling my job gives me anxiety. I have a few weeks but I'm nervous already.

I TOLD WORK!
I was the same way, but at this point, I really can't hide it, my belly is getting huge. I'm still all nervous and jittery! But I know that it's going to be all good.

AHH I hear ya! My last leave sucked. I am the billing manager and we were implementing a new system. Lets just say I was on the phone allll the time and the computer. I told them I am pregnant with number 2. They are excited but didn't think I would be so quickly!! Good luck momma!

I TOLD WORK!
Ahh that must feel like such a relief you finally told them! I'm in the same boat- work for a small company and we are not covered under FMLA either. I'm dreading the day I have to tell my manager lol

I TOLD WORK!
Congrats, glad it went well. I dreaded telling my work because I had only been at my company about a month when we conceived (it happened WAY quicker than we thought it would coming off the pill). I waited till 16 weeks to tell them because I couldn't get up the nerve. It felt like a huge weight lifted when I finally came out and the convo went really well. They have been incredibly supportive all pregnancy, I hope your boss ends up being the same way!! Enjoy the freedom of being officially "out"

Re: I TOLD WORK!
I told two offices and holding off on my main. She openly said she hopes none of us get pregnant bc everyone leaves when they have the babies lol I'm aiming to tell them in another week or two. Will probably quit that office anyway. Good riddens!

OMG! That's horrible to say to someone! Yeah, you definitely don't need that negativity! I'm surprised you told so early!

Two of my offices use nitrous gas which is hazardous to a fetus so I had to for those. I'm very close with those bosses so it was no biggie.

I forget you've got such a great relationship with your bosses... Mine turned bright red, he gets so embarrassed! And yeah, you def need to be careful with that.
