Anyone use AFLAC?

I will be TTC for my second pregnancy. I used AFLAC last time. I don't know why I find this so damn confusing. Last time I think I had to sign up 10 months before I delivered. So I was good, and got the benefits.

Now with my second child, I'm still okay, right? They deduct AFLAC from my paycheck every month. So I imagine I would have to tell them when I'm pregnant?

You can not put in a pregnancy claim within the first 10 months of enrolling. So you would need to sign up for AFLAC before you became pregnant. If you are already enrolled, then you will be fine.
You do not have to tell them you are pregnant just submit the claim for lost work when you deliver.

I just called our AFLAC rep to sign up. The only thing he said was you have to let them know when you deliver and you will have a check in a week lol

I want to know more about this. Is this if you don't have insurance or is it additional? How much does it cost monthly and how do you get paid out (if you are still being paid while on leave from work, let's say)? TIA!!

You contribute monthly to it, and then you get a specific amount when you are out of work. It's additional to insurance. There are different plans where you can pay more/less monthly. I think I went with the lowest amount back when I first signed up.
