How's everyone doing?! Any other August babies make an appearance yet?
This little peanut is still nice and comfortable in the belly. Countdown is under 4 days - due date on Friday. 
We're 150% ready, so now it's really up to him! Started feeling a lot more back-pain last night and more random contractions.

Doing ok, been completely exhausted the past few days. I've been having contractions on and off since Friday.
We are ready for this little boy whenever he decides to make his appearance.

For my first two internals, I was only softened and 50% effaced, but not dilated at all. After having a bunch of on and off contractions, when I went for my 39 week on Thursday, I was up 2cm. Hopefully things start happening for you too!

I'm 38.5 weeks as well...1 cm dilated and cervix is still long. 9 days to go...9....did I type that right....9! 
Still haven't decided on a name. And have 5 thank you notes to finish from the shower. Should get the thank yous done today...lol!! Those are the only things that I can think that should be done soon...we have some other things that will need to be done but they can get done next week...even if this baby comes before due date.

8 days to go... Baby in a good position but not at all dilated. Although to give everyone hope... My dr says with your first many times you are not at all dilated until the day you go into labor so just because you are not dilated today doesn't mean you can't have the baby tomorrow. Lets hope that's true!!!
The waiting game is boring..... Trying to rest up and get a manicure :)

38 weeks today, been having contractions on and off since Friday. I go for my OB appt tomorrow, maybe she will tell me I made some progress.
Weird thing I noticed this morning, for 9 months I've been congested every day...today my nose will not stop running. Could be something, could be nothing, just crossing my fingers that this is a good sign and not just a cold!!

This is insane that we're all so close. I'm 2 days (well 1 day, 14 hours to be exact hah) from my due date. Had some intense contractions last night, literally brought me to tears, but after 30 minutes, they went away and I was able to fall asleep. Hoping it means I'm more dilated, we'll see on Friday!
T - I woke up one morning the other day, runny nose, coughing, etc. Only lasted maybe an hour or two, but felt like I was getting a cold too, and then nada. Hope it's the same for you!

Just because you aren't dilated, doesn't mean you won't give birth on time.
I went to see my OB GYN Weds afternoon- cervix high and closed.
Thursday morning- water breaks- still not dilated. Started Cervidil about 7 hours later after finally being admitted since I was not contracting much at all, this was going to be followed with Pitcocin to start my contractions. I never made it that far. 9 hours into the Cervidil, I was in full labor. I went from 4cm to 9 1/2 cm in an hour.
Anything can happen! Good luck fellow August mommies!!

What are you all looking forward to most that is not baby related?? (Because I know well all just want to meet our little one already!)
I cannot wait until my nose is no longer stuffy and bleeding EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I can't wait to sleep on my back or stomach again. =)
I can't wait to eat sushi
And I can not wait to go running again.

I'm so looking forward to not feeling nauseous after I eat! I'm looking forward to getting rid of all of my maternity clothes (LAST pregnancy, ever!!!) I'm looking forward to walking normally again instead of waddling! The next ten days can't go by fast enough for me!!

I am the same with sleep. I literally have to sit up to switch sides.
I use my hubby's arm as a bar and pull on him... Ha he loves being woken up by me multiple times during the night ;)

For me; I can not wait to ditch the heartburn and sciatica pain as well as to have a nice cold margarita!!!!
