who to call for basement leak?
water got in the unfinished part of my basement yesterday from the rain. it's dry now, but should i have someone come in to evaluate it and see if something needs to be fixed? anyone have a recommendation? i'm in wantagh

I think it depends on what you're talking about that may need to be fixed. Is there wiring? Sheetrock? Mold? Pipes? Appliances? I'd call different people for different issues. But I'm not clear if there's any actual damage since you say it's all dry now.

my sister suggested i call someone since the water got in somehow. it was the unfinished part of the basement so i'm guessing it came through the foundation?
