Consultation LI IVF
I have my first consultation next week at LI IVF , they siaid I was going to be there an hour!. What are they going to do?

Just talk. It can be up to an hour; sometimes less; depending on how many questions you have for him.
Talk about your history, your partner's history.
He will probably end up writing you a script for you and your partner for Blood tests, and most likely your partners semen analysis. And take it from there.
But No sono is done; if that is what you were asking?

I did have a sono during our first meeting. My DH and I also did all our blood work during our first appt as well.

I did have a sono during our first meeting. My DH and I also did all our blood work during our first appt as well.
Did you ask to just get started? I dont have a problem getting started I just wanted to be prepared.

I didn't have a Sono, but I had blood drawn.
Are you going to Melville or lake success?
If lake success - make sure you tell the nurses and Dr. B there that I say hi!!!! (Use my married name, lol) they all know me :)

Good luck! I see Dr. Kenigsberg @ LIIVF but Dr. Brenner did my transfer and he was fabulous! I was probably there around an hour for my initial consult -- met with the doctor, he took a detailed medical history, spoke about how we should proceed. No sono for me, but they drew blood from both DH and I. Quite a few tubes, some for baseline measures for me and others for the genetic tests.

Dr Pena is my Dr and in our first consultation he did a sono and blood work. We just asked a bunch of questions. Good Luck!!

This paper work that I have to fill out is like a book, and it says that I will have a sono on my first visit so I guess I will just be prepared for it.

My doctor did a sono on me at my consult- I also go to LI IVF. I guess it depends on which doctor you see.
