How much to pay nanny?
Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and a new mom of twins. I am a teacher and will be going back to work in a few months and need to arrange child care. What hourly rate do you think is fair to pay someone to watch 5 month old twin girls for 2 days a week, for 9-10 hours a day? Thank you in advance!

I will be home working when my nanny is here. She just started and is helping with my 4.5 year old - I am paying her $18 an hour. I'm basically working to pay her - but I see it as an investment in my future work, help with the babies of course, and my sanity:) I am in Westchester - so does depend on your local area. Can you search sittercity to see going rates?
