Recs for pediatrician in Sayville or surrounding area
My favorite doctor is leaving our practice! So I'm thinking about switching to a new ped. Any recommendations? I really did like the office - staff was always nice, nurses are great.... but I'm just not thrilled with the other doctors. I always made my children's appointments with the doctor who is leaving. She always took her time, gave confident answers , was so easy to talk to, etc.
Any info on Dr Eisenberg? Dr Augustine? or anyone else?
TIA!!!!

We use eisenberg. He is very thorough. The office staff is nice. The nurse practitioners are great and I always get an apt the same day I call. But in my opinion he is a lil socially awkward but hey I'm not going there to hang out with him rright lol

LOVE Dr. Eisenberg and his staff. He is very thorough, like PP said. They do not draw blood at their office, they send you to a lab - not sure how important that is to you. Other than that I totally recommend his office.

Another rec for Dr. Eisenberg. Love him and I even love his social awkwardness. BIG fan of Nicole, the nurse practitioner and the other nurses in the office are great, especially Amanda (tall blonde). Can't go wrong with them.

Another rec for Eisenberg! He's such a sweet man, I really feel comfortable with him. I totally trust him with DD since the day she was born. I also like Nicole and the new NP they hired, Meredith I think?
Never a super long wait in the office, they always have sick visits when you need one, no issue with getting the flu shot when I hear so many other offices don't have them in stock, etc
I'm very happy there.

I was with West Sayville Pediatrics back when Eisenberg was there. We loved him. When he switched to his own practice we stayed with WS until we found Peds First in Medford.
If you wanted to stay local I would go with Eisenberg, I do not recall ever having an issue with him at WS and I remember really liking him.

Exactly all of this! I don't LOVE the man, but I feel he is an excellent medical doctor. My biggest complaint is that I wish he was more supportive of breastfeeding, aside from that he's incredibly thorough, patient, and tries to make the kids laugh. I just don't follow his advice on BF or starting solids, etc.
My mom took my sister ( who is now 20) to Augustine for 17 years and loves him. He was just too old for me... I was afraid he would retire while my kids were still little.

We go to Eisenberg and like him. I had two weekend issues where they never sent my script over to cvs and then the office was closed so my DD had to wait like 6 hours to get her antibiotics. I considered leaving those times, but so really like the practice.

We go to West Sayville Pediatrics. We met with Dr. Augustine a few years ago before my DS was born and while he was very nice like a previous poster said I was afraid he would be retiring soon and would have to find someone new sooner than later.
