wireless internet booster
does anybody know if you use a wireless internet booster does it make all the other computer slow

Do you mean a wireless ROUTER? A device that allows you to get wireless internet in your house?
Or do you mean exactly what you say, a booster?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but our wifi upstairs was spotty so we bought a booster to up the wifi signal upstairs and now we have 4-5 bars instead of 0-1.
this is what I use
It hasn't affected the speed of the Internet at all.

I spoke to apple when our upstairs coverage was spotty due to a huge chimney in the middle of the house, and it suggested getting a second airport and putting it upstairs which has worked beautifully.
