Need a neurosurgeon.
Please don't move since this board gets more traffic.
I had back surgery in Jan. I'm having a lot of complications now and I need a good neurosurgeon preferably one with good bedside manner. I'm in Suffolk but willing to travel for someone good.

Need a neurosurgeon.
Dr. Madhok at St. Francis hospital. He has excellent bedside manner and the hospital there is great. We traveled from suffolk but it was well worth it imo.

Need a neurosurgeon.
I can't recommend Dr. Vincent Leone enough. He did my back surgery in 2010. He's in Great Neck. He's affiliated with North Shore Syosset. They have a whole neuro/ortho wing that he helped build.

He's in NYC but I love dr. Souweidane... He works with Weill Cornell medical center...

Dr. William J. Sonstein
He's the head of Neurosurgery at North Shore LIJ Plainview but is also in my neuro's group. He isn't the head of the group, but he should be. His bedside manner is amazing, and he is so sweet.
I like Dr. Onesti, too but he's here in South Nassau.
His staff is very nice, too.

In Suffolk, Dr. Raphael Davis is the cream of the crop but he is not known for his bedside manner. Given the specialty, I would be more concerned about skill than bedside manner but everyone is different.
Dr. Steven Leon is also excellent. Don't let the fact that he is affiliated with Brookhaven fool you. He is Harvard trained and brilliant. He's also a nice man.
