I read a lot. I love to give positive reviews to all that I have had any types of services with.
I was told by another patient to look into this vent.
Told to look into it because she was so disgusted.

Deleted regarding the hormonal thing.
I will say yes I am hormonal on a lot of estrace right now but I'm not insensitive and hearing the shit a lot of you ladies went through breaks my heart.

I apologize if I offended anyone or scared anyone that wasn't my intention with the original post(it was a vent of something I saw that day while in the office that was unacceptable). I didn't realize that a lot of other ladies on here had negative experiences with RS of NY until this thread.
I did have success with them that resulted in my DD and I'm in the middle of a cycle with them now. I'm just looking at the future as far as moving my embryos from this office (see my post earlier in this thread regarding insurance).
Good Luck ladies with with your current or future cycles

Woah, hold up here. Not about bad vibes....it's about bad practices that should never occur. I had a emotionless doctor that sat without giving me so much as a tissue say, yeah, well your're probably going to have a miscarriage again, see you in a week to make sure.....that made me disgusted. I sat for 2-3 hours at a time for blood work....that made me disgusted. I was forced to tell my boss I was pregnant before my first MC because I was constantly late for work because of the insane wait times...I had to tell her before my FAMILY....that made me disgusted. If someone is going to make a choice about where to go or comiserate about the things we are seeing it's our right to share. I did complain both to my RE and OB (who sent me there to start and HE was disgusted) As I said, the nurses couldn't be nicer, I did love my RE, she was kind and very helpful but MY experience overall was not a good one and posts like the original post as well as many others, which I chose to ignore at first when I wanted to stay positive and keep going, really just all rang true. You are very blessed to have two healthy little ones. If they are the ones that brought them to you, that is a wonderful thing. I hope anyone going to any office gets the baby they so desperately long for. I have been gaining a positive attitude because I now feel like I'm in a positive practice with a positive doctor. Im actually not "hormonal" anymore but seeing things a lot more clearly. It's my opinion, my experience and people can do with it as they may. If your 5th post is a rebuttle, enjoy because I for one am not entertaining it, I said my piece.
As for people getting scared off....my experience was just that, it doesn't mean it will be yours. But I feel it would be remiss not to share when there seems to be an overwhelming amount of people having the same troubles. This journey is exhausting and physically/mentally painful enough. Always go with your gut ladies. Good luck and to you all no matter where you go.

Well said petro. Well said. I dislike the tone of our newbie poster as hidden behind encouragement and a be positive attitude is disdain and shaming.
Honesty should not be confused with negativity. It is blind optimism that sometimes keeps people in painful situations way longer than they should but instead of advocating or feeling angry, they stuff it inside and keep hanging in there.
This board is educational, inspirational and a support network. Shaming others for speaking their mind has no place here.

Insinuating that these ladies are being "hormonal" is an insult in my opinion, especially when they are sharing really personal, harsh stories that happened to them from this practice. Not everyone will have a bad experience and if you like them, stay but most of us have known eachother for years here on this forum so if we want to vent, we will do so without outside criticism.
Also, there always happens to be a random poster who comes out of the woodwork when RS posts come up so I won't be surprised if this person is a staff member in hiding (like the other posts) who will soon disappear. Just the irony of 4 posts and a mouthful of information.

Yes- I am a newbie. That was made clear. A newbie to this vent as well as to this site.
I too have that early 630 morning and work- and can not be on site until after 3pm. We are put through the ringer. I get it. I was told two weeks before my wedding I was not able to have kids. My husband and I wanted to be positive and define the odds. I did the RM, surgeries, meds- I get it. I expressed myself - "vented" - in the same way. Believe me I get it. I went through it for two years. Two years!!! We were told this and that for this family member, friends, nurses and doctors. Blocked myself for people who had kids that were" more blessed then me". All I am saying is trust your gut. Trust your doctors. Be positive. I am proof. Shut down the negativity. Advise from others who went and are going through it was good. It was great from those that who keep it nice and clean.

You can take your positivity and go scratch on this matter ok .....and I'm guessing since you have four posts you probably work there.......
I will never stop sharing my story regarding malpractice and poor practices regarding this office.
If thats negative then so be it.....hopefully they don't DESTROY YOUR EMBRYOS like they did to me on your next ivf cycle.....
if that happened to you i don't think you would be very positive now would you?
eta caring and compassionate they are NOT.....i wouldn't call no follow up call after failed IVF's caring and compassionate.....as well as numb doctors who transfer non viable embryos into a hopeful person for the money.

This board is sacred for a many. A outlet. The only place they feel someone else can understand them
And it also a great source for information. For expierences for advice and for comfort
It is not for judgement

Poor practice opinions are fine. I always look up a doc or practice before going. But scaring other women (including myself) from RM or any practice with insults doesn't settle right. I didn't believe it when I hear about it but I can now see its true. Some women here are amazing and I find sharing their experience to be encouraging but other are harsh and flat out disrespectful. Keep it clean. Be true. Support each other. Be strong women.

She has been through more shit than most of is here can't fathom. And she is still holding on. Still strong and doesn't act as bitter as I know I would be 
She tells her story to help. So nobody will ever have to feel

I think you are doing the exact opposite. You are not supporting anyone in this post by calling us hormonal. We are being truthful. RS of NY couldn't get my pregnant...I moved on.
If you want to speak about "supporting each other" and being strong women then I suggest you validate other people's feelings and not throw them to the side calling them "hormonal".
Harsh and disrespectful is exactly what you are being. This is not a WE LOVE RSofNY post. It is a vent. If you didn't have anything to add to support the original poster or offer advice you should have kept it closed.
This board has helped me through so much in my life. Please remember that when you are posting. Couples on this board are going through more than most... support it what they need.

I have two beautiful girls. Keeping positive is key. I believe that no matter which office you go to, as "hormonal" women we are going to find something wrong.
Remember you are the patient and have a voice. Insults are a sign of weakness. Instead of complaining- why not speak up and find a solution to make your treatment better. If that includes changing md's then do it but I can bet you that a month later you will be complaining about them too. I have been in your shoes. Changing your attitude might work. Be nice and strong.
Clearly you work there. Like you would have such a vested interest in a clinic to write all this and knock women who had issues with your "past" clinic down. Ok. We buy your story.

It's not wasting time complaining, such a former IF smarty you are. It's actually a pretty productive way for IFers to learn to leave a clinic when they hear others validate what they are experiencing.

This post was not for you.....if you have had such a great time at this clinic good for you keep it moving.....dont come on this thread and try sway people in another direction....NOTHING and NOONE will change my mind on this place.....but thanks.

This board is full of the most positive and supportive women you will ever meet in your life. Sharing experiences about a clinic is not negative nor does it bring "bad vibes". Your approach was not the kindest or the most positive so I think most of these responses are warranted.

Wow, you really are something else. I'm angry for a lot of these girls that I have grown to know, some in real life. Who are you to jump on here out of nowhere and call these girls hormonal when you have NO idea what they have been through? It's very clear that you work there and nobody is taking you seriously. It's not about positivity vs negativity. It's about supporting one another and sharing experiences.
Your final straw was signing off your last post "mother of two and a half". Low low low blow. Rubbing it in some of these girls faces that not only do you already have two kids but you're pregnant again. You're the lowest of the low. Stay off these boards and away from these girls

Seriously...who are you? no really, you come on here and your first posts are bashing other women...i'm glad you left. This isn't a matter of opinion. WE are all trying to stay positive...this isn't about us crying or being so negative. It's about sharing experiences and unfortunately a lot of us have had bad ones there. When you go to a restaurant and get bad food, it's ok to write a review right? so why not this? yes, we have a choice to go back and keep going through the same thing after discussing with our RE or we leave...that is what us ladies are reaching out for. and PS>...all of the women on here are amazing....and we do support each other, unlike yourself.....
