Need a fast and easy app for NYE
Cold spinach dip in a bread bowl - you can make the dip tomorrow, I actually think it tastes better when it's been in the fridge over night.
Mozzarella, tomato and basil skewers - another app you can make the day before.

I would do a dip. Most dips are better the second day anyway.

You can put this together tomorrow night and you serve it cold.
I don't do it the skinny way though:

And even faster, you can buy it premade. BJ's sells it. So do the supermarkets and Trader Joes Taste the same to me.

We love this hot artichoke dip and it's so easy. You can mix the ingredients together before hand and just throw it in the oven when you get home. recipe

Greek Layered Dip!
Mix: 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning 3 cloves garlic, minced (or garlic powder)
Layer on bottom of pie pan.
Then add a layer of hummus
Then a layer of tzatziki sauce- BTW this step is not necessary but I love it!
Layer with cut up cucumber, tomato and kalamata olives
Top with crumbled feta.
Serve with Pita chips or wedges. Yummy, easy and different.

It's greek yogurt dip. You can find it in the supermarket, I always get it at Costco too. Also take out at any greek restaurant. It is simple to make too.
Ingredients ½ a large cucumber, unpeeled 1½ cups plain Greek yogurt 2 large garlic cloves, finely minced 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 Tablespoon white vinegar ½ teaspoon salt dill (fresh or dried)
Instructions Grate the cucumber and drain. Make sure to squeeze out as much moisture as possible. Combine it with the yogurt, garlic, oil, vinegar, and salt in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Roll mozzarella cheese and pepperoni into crescent rolls, bake according to package. Marinara sauce for dipping. I make my own-two small cans of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil (I do a bit more garlic powder than onion powder, and a bit more oregano than basil). Heat it for about ten minutes until it starts to bubble.

I'm making bacon wrapped water chestnuts. I'm making it tonight, and popping it in the oven before we leave tomorrow.

Re: Need a fast and easy app for NYE
I recently "invented" a new dip...I caramelize onions and mix it with cream cheese, Lipton (or whatever brand) French onion dry mix, and shredded mozzarella. Heat it up when you get to the location, and you have French onion soup dip!
It's been a big hit wherever I've brought it.
