SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
Husband and I need to turn in our Nissan Maxima soon and we are looking to lease our first truck. Have a four year old and a 5 month old presently. Looking for a mid-sized SUV. We are going back and forth on the need for a 3rd row. So far we have looked at the Nissan Pathfinder and Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Plan to investigate the Ford Edge as well.
Can anyone offer their opinions on these trucks or any others they feel might fit the bill. Also if you guys don't mind we are curious to see what we can realistically expect to pay for these vehicles in terms of downpayment and monthly payments thereafter. If you guys prefer to DM your thoughts that's fine too. Also looking for dealer recommendations if you have any.
Thank you for all of your help

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
Over the summer we traded in our murano for a pathfinder. I love it so far! The one thing we did to save some money was we get a certified pre owned. It was a year old and had about 3500 miles. We were able to go up to a mid level model. We almost bought a new S but are so much happier with SV. Just so you know the S comes with barely any features, the driver seat wasn't even power. pm me for any more information!

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
We have a fully loaded 2014 Explorer, +some after-market extras we brought it back to the dealer to add, 39mo lease, and our payments are just under $500 with no money down.
BEST CAR EVER. I am IN LOVE with my truck!

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
We have a 2013 pathfinder platinum. Love this truck. So many options and drives so nice. Very roomy. Has more features than my Mercedes ml 350. You can't go wrong with the pathfinder.

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
We just test drove the Pathfinder and I wasn't overly impressed. It felt clunky to me with little pick up. We also drove the Highlander (among a few others), but that was my favorite of the SUV's in that class. It felt substantial but had decent power for a truck that size. I really liked it. It's on the top of our list.
We also test drove the Volvo XC60 and the Lexus RX350 (different class of vehicle but still similar in price as the others). Except for the Lexus, loaded up, most of the SUV's we tested were around the same price.
As a rough idea, most were asking about $3K for taxes, destination fees, etc. and the lease price was going to be between $465-540. Mind you, these were all rough estimates, we didn't really haggle price at this point because we are not looking to actually get a new car for another month or two. We're just in the researching phase right now.
Hope this helps!

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
Last February we traded in our Kia Sportage early and leased a 2014 Ford Explorer. I have one DS who will be 3 in March but looking to start trying for another possibly next year. The Kia was too small for all the stuff that went along with DS- car seat, stroller, etc. So we leased the Ford. We love it! There is plenty of room in both the trunk and the car. It is 7 passenger and even with the seat up there is plenty of room in the trunk. I know we put money down on it, but i don;t remember how much. Our lease payments are about $300 per month.

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
Have you considered a certified preowned vehicle? It can get you a better car and a longer warranty.

Re: SUV AND TRUCK LEASE PRICING
I have a 2001 and a 2009 Pathfinder. Still love the 2001 (old body style) but not happy with the 2009. A rough ride and not very roomy in the backseat. The 3rd row is a joke. I am looking to trade in or sell both cars for a Jeep Cherokee. I have heard nothing but great reviews (current owners).
