little village rave!
My son started Little Village Monday and it has been so amazing! I finally feel like people get him and are teaching him! If anyone has the chance to use them they are wo wonderful.
He goes to their daycare from 8-9 and then again after preschool from 11:30-3. They are open til 6, but my mom graciously offered to pick him up at 3 to save us a few bucks.

Glad you like it! I am hoping my DS gets in their Pre-K program next year (right now he goes there through EI). I also use their daycare in the morning.

I've always been on the fence about LV but im going for a tour there at the end of the month. I hope that it goes well, especially bc you ladies love it.

Whose daycare class? Logan is in Miss Diana's in the morning before preschool and again from 1130-3

He is in Miss Nicole's room from 8-9 in the morning. Although I never see her and there are two other girls in there that are really nice. But he does full day at LV so DH just picks him up at the end of the day at 330.

My son just started the EI program there. I'm hoping it is good but I just feel out of the loop because the only communication I have is with his notebook. It's not like home therapy and I can talk to the therapists each day, etc. I guess I'm just having a hard time with this adjustment and hoping he is benefitting from the program.

Yes it is frustrating sometimes that you only communicate via the notebook. DS' teacher recently took a personal leave but before that, she used to come over 1x a month for parent training which helped because we were able to ask her more questions and see how DS was doing. She also showed us videos on her phone of DS in class which was nice.

So glad you are happy with it. I know it has gotten rave reviews. I went to look at it for DD, but it was not right for her. I tried as hard as I could to convince myself that it was, but the class she was going to be in was not what she needed.

We moms know out kids best. I love ACDS and my sister works there... she was a student there many years ago as she has downs, but the classroom was not right for my son. you know when it is right and when it is not.
