Hungry, cold and tired all the time! Help
I'm only in my seventh week but already I am hungry all the time. I plan my food out everyday, healthy stuff with protein, etc. But shortly after I eat I am hungry again. I am overweight to begin with and don't want to gain 70 pounds with this pregnancy. I didn't have this with the first. I only gained 35 pounds and took most of it off immediately. Please tell me your "diet" plans for pregnancy.
I'm also very tired most days and can't seem to shake the cold even in my house at night with the heat on. Any comments or suggestions on that?

Hungry, cold and tired all the time! Help
I'm going through the same thing. When everyone at work is hot I'm cold. By 2pm I need a nap. For the past week I've woken up at 3am to make peanut butter and jelly sandwich. My overall diet plan has not been great Breakfast: Oatmeal and a banana Lunch: either a bagel (whole wheat w/ butter) or progresso soup Dinner: Italian dish( my family is sick of it, but that's all I want) Snacks: Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and I only eat the peanut butter out of them. Chocolate is not my friend.

I laughed when I read about peanut butter and jelly middle of the night run. I am trying to keep track of my calories anyway with the MyFitnessPal app. I've been trying to stay around 1700 calories but most days I am a little over. Good luck on your end.

Hungry, cold and tired all the time! Help
When I was early in my pregnancy with DD, I was ravenous. No one could mention a food without me suddenly craving it. Then MS started. I barely ate for weeks. I was also diagnosed with GD so I had to follow a strict diet. I ended up losing about 30-something pounds before giving birth and a total of around 50 within a week of giving birth.
7 weeks is still early. If you get MS, you won't be so hungry anymore lol.
ETA: You gain/lose what you need to sustain a healthy pregnancy.

Morning- egg and cheese (1 slice) on a bagel/roll Lunch- cup of soup, half wrap (typically a grilled piece of chicken) or a salad with cheese, chicken etc For dressing, i only do oil with lemon juice... No mayo or creamy dressings Dinner- protein again or a small bowl of pasta. When eating out, only order an appetizer as your meal. Snacks- one cookie only or cottage cheese with fruit, small cereal if i really need the carbs Lots of water!! I know its super hard to be diligent when pregnant but it will pay off. Im also trying to get my husband to loose weight so i dont ever buy snacks, juices etc. Also, if i have a craving for something unhealthy, i will take a bite and get rid of the rest. Hang in there!

Hungry, cold and tired all the time! Help
Totally normal. Just listen to your body. I was very hungry early on, then my appetite returned to normal in the second, now I'm hungry again in the third. Eating small meals but frequently may help. I try to eat every 2 hours (typical day: cereal for breakfast 9am, apple for snack 11am, pb&j lunch 1pm, yogart as snack 3pm, another small snack 5pm, light dinner protein and veggie 7pm, another piece of fruit at 9pm. Same pattern with the tiredness. First trimester I was passed up by 9pm and needed naps, second trimester I was back to normal, 3rd I'm back to 9pm and naps haha. You're probably cold because it's freakin freezing out!!!!!!

By mid week in week 6 I was exactly all three of these things!! Hungry to the point of nauseas, FREEZING cold, and absolutely exhausted. I believe it's totally normal - just try to have layers with you and keep hydrated with healthy snacks close by!!
Congrats!
