A WWYD regarding Bonus...
I am an Exec. Assistant. My boss asked me before christmas to forward her details of my bonus and salary increase for last year as she wanted to set it up again for this year. I do EVERYTHING for this woman so she basically has put this on her desk and forgotten about it. I have worked for her for 11 years and I know this has just slipped her mind and she genuinely does mean to action it but seen as I am always the one to action things for her ...this has not happened.
SO do I say something? I feel really awkward like I am begging but then I feel like I deserve it...its always a few thousand dollars so I need it and use it.
Would you say something or let it slide and hope she remembers?

I'm an exec assistant as well and I would do this except word it as "I left this as requested on blank and I just wanted to confirm that you have received it. Please let me know if you need anything blah blah "I wouldn't say you were unsure you sent it to her

Thanks Everyone...I know I need to send it..I know she would want me to... just have to get the courage to do it....hopefully she will frustrate me so much tomorrow I will just send it and not feel guilty.

I'm an Exec Asst as well, so I can completely relate.
I'm not sure if you work for a big firm, but in most of them (or at least in banking), bonus numbers must be submitted by a certain date and then communicated to the staff on another date after management review.
If your boss has not yet received your e-mail, Im assuming she would have told you by now, since the numbers had to have been submitted.
Hope this makes sense! I honestly dont know how small firms work -- Im sure very differently though.
