Venue for baby shower in Queens or LI

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can suggest a place to hold a baby shower for around 70 people. Places have become so expensive!! Does anyone know of a venue that would be reasonably priced and can accommodate that many people? TIA !

I always recommend peppercorns in Hicksville. Nice place, good food, good prices. I had a party there

Jonathan's on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park. They'll give you their very spacious private room if you guarantee 50 people. They have many different packages. We are doing a brunch buffet which I think is $34/person but that doesn't include tax or service charge which is around 20%. Still expensive when added up but their base price is lower than many places. Worth checking out!

Where in Queens?

In eastern Queens, Trattoria 35 in Bayside is really good, as is Veranda, though they'd probably have to close for 70 people.

If you're willing to go further west, O'Neill's, Connolloy's and Maspeth Ale House (all in Maspeth) are good and very reasonable.

Also:

Bridie's (Rego Park)
Barosa (also Rego Park, but super close to Middle Village)
Villa Erasmo (Middle Village)- taken over by the family who owns Rosa's Pizza.
Parkside (Corona)

Angelinas in Williston Park or the Lynbrook location. I love their party room and the food is amazing.

My baby shower is going to be in Howard Beach at Bruno's Restaurant. I think the private room only holds 60 though. There is also Matteo's and Roma View in Howard Beach right on Crossbay Blvd too! They can accommodate more people.

I've had parties at Roma View but never Bruno's. I always pass it but never eaten there. I have to try it!!

This is where my bridal shower was and it was great! I highly recommend it to everyone who asks.

We had my cousin's shower at Vetro in Howard Beack last year and it was beautiful.

Vetro is great, but my mom had inquired about it for my bridal shower and it was $65++ for the package she wanted, which I thought was a bit pricey for a shower. It's probably WORTH that price because it's so good, but pricey nevertheless Chat Icon
