Best electric stove/cooktop
We are buying a house with oil. In the case that we can't convert to gas because of the $$ what is the best electric stove/cooktop you know of that boils water fast/cooks evenly, etc? TIA

Best electric stove/cooktop
We just bought a new house and the appliances are older but I have never seen an electric stove boil water so fast like 10x faster than the gas stove we had lol.
I'm going to check for you as soon as I get home the brand.

Induction
We have a GE Profile induction range, but at the time I specifically wanted an induction range and there weren't many options in the states. I'm sure there are plenty options available now, especially if you're just looking for a cooktop.

We just replaced our appliances. We were on a tight budget, and got a frigidaire, which I'm loving so far. Stovetop heats quickly and cools quickly. Oven has a "fast bake" option which turns it into something similar to an induction oven w/o a hefty price tag.

Induction.
I have Siemens brand and it has a 'boost' function. Bigger pots of water take about 5 mins to boil, but smaller pots take 2 mins to boil.
