My 4.5 year old was just diagnosed with it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Re: Mono
My 2 year old was diagnosed with it in September. He never had a fever just very swollen glands, a rash and enlarged tonsils. At first, he was diagnosed with strep, but then had a rash a few days later and that's when he was tested for mono. He was a little more tired than usual and slept a little more, but really seemed to have a mild case. Usually, the younger they are the faster they bounce back. He was kept out of daycare for a week as a precaution and we really had to be on top of him not sharing cups or putting things in his mouth. He never developed an enlarged spleen and was completely back to himself within a week or two.
Hope DC feels better soon!
