Best furniture places? Quality and price?
Where in LI can we look for good quality furniture? It's time for us to get rid of the ikea furniture (which is falling apart) after 10 years!

Best furniture places? Quality and price?
I bought our couch from the raymore and flanigan clearance center it was actually brand new and just arrived when the 110 locations did their change up. We love it!!! They had so many in great condition. Ashely furniture is also great and has awesome warranties!

We have furniture from Raymour & Flanigan too and we love it. They have some great pieces

We bought our dressers at raymour clearance, our headboard at Bobs.
We also have a sofabed from Jennifer
Our bedroom set in our vacation home is from Bobs too
Its not easy to find great quality for a low price but I feel we got a good value for what we spent in each store.

My bedroom furniture from RF from 7 years ago is falling apart.....its been falling apart for about three years already......my couches from them are still in good condition.

I think it has less to do with an individual store and more to do with the manufacturer of the furniture. You can get pieces that last from a store and from the same store pieces that don't last because they have different manufacturers or even different lines from the same manufacturer.
Very few companies make their own furniture anymore. I bought my BR set from Thomasville and my DR set I saw at Thomasville, but it was manufactured by Canadel and I purchased it elsewhere for considerably less money.

We bought our bedroom set from R&F less than 4 years ago and its already showing a lot of wear and tear. I've heard similar complaints from 2 friends about the quality of their couches. They aren't cheap either, which is pretty disappointing.
I know my inlaws have always raved about Broyhill and Ethan Allen furniture.

Each store can have quality stuff but I would look for solid wood american made. Not made in China or wood laminate stuff!!
