Is the Royal Table worth it?
We made a reservation for lunch and for 4 of us it was $175 upfront.
This better be the best lunch ever.

Re: Is the Royal Table worth it?
We did it once on the dining plan. It is a one time experience. It was nice eating in the castle. For us, our interaction was not as good as Akershus. In fact my kids love Akershus. On our last trip we gave them the option and hands down they wanted Akershus over CRT. At CRT they came over quickly signed our book and took one photo. It was very rushed. Akershus on the other hand was quick, but we eat there every trip and they do chat a little bit with my kids and it has been pretty decent interaction. CRT you are really paying for the castle. If you are looking for princesses but maybe want to spend a bit less, try Akershus instead.

IMO & in my 7 & 4 year olds opinion NO! The interaction what less than Akersus. In smile, sign, out! We all hated the meal. Just wasn't worth it at all! One done & my family all agreed never again. I really was never more dissapointed because I thought it would be so much more special feeling.

Definitely something I think everyone needs to do at least once. We always had great character interactions just has good as Akershus. You are literally sitting inside the castle and you can't get better than that. The food is not great but it's the experience.

Re: Is the Royal Table worth it?
We did it for the first time last year and it was worth every penny. To get to take pictures with numerous princesses at your table and interact as a group is priceless in my opinion. We will definitely do it again when we go back!

This!!!! I too expected much more after our many Akershus meals. At Akershus they actually talked with our kids and really interacted. But at CRT it was very rushed and they were annoyed if you wanted to take a second picture because someone wasn't looking. They really didn't even talk to the kids other than come on let's get a picture. Our food was okay and the castle was nice. Just very disappointed in the interaction since it was so much more. Friends of ours have had the same feeling. Also my kids prefer the princess parade they walked in over just waving a wand in their seats.

Curious. Those who loved CRT. Have you tried Akershus? I only ask because I find those who love it have not tried Akershus for various reasons or did not know about it.

I liked Akershus much better - food and princess interaction. But I still feel you have to eat in Cinderella's castle at least once. especially if you have princess loving girls!
