Daycare
For those of you with multiples plus siblings what do you do for daycare?
I'll have 3 under 2 come this summer and I'm already stressing over daycare. I've asked a few co-workers and some places offer a 10% discount, but I'm still worried I won't be able to afford it.

Re: Daycare
We hired a babysitter. Someone we knew who had grown children..she is still with us 7 years later.
It was cheaper. Also we only needed someone for about 4 hours a day, 3x a week. My husband works at 3 most days and I get home at 6. I looked into daycare..way too expensive to have twin infants and a 3 year old in a program at the time..even for 3x a week.

Re: Daycare
I am home this year. I would have had infant twins and a 3 yo in daycare, plus before and after care And enrichment (my district dies not have full time Kindergarten) for my 5 year old. The.cost plus the logistics of getting 4 kids out of the house and the stress, it just didn't pay. It's really tight on one income and I have no help, but it makes sense for now. I am hoping my district will grant me another year off next year. Then I would only have to worry about daycare for the twins and before care and after care for an hour or so for the older two once my middle guy gets to kindergarten. It's so expensive, it's crazy.

Daycare
We hired an Au Pair to come live with us. We wanted to keep our 4yo in the same school and it just wasn't feasible to send the twins there as well. An au pair is actually the only affordable option that we found. Thankfully we really lucked out with the girl who we matched with and things are going great. It's a little strange having someone new living in the house, but it's nice to have the flexibility in hours and we don't have to get the twins up and out of the house in the morning.

Re: Daycare
My 3.5 year old is in pre-school 3 days/week from 9-1. I work 3 days a week and my parents watch the twins and my daughter after school. I have no idea how people afford daycare for all three.

Daycare
My twins were 20 months when DS was born and I had all three in an I home daycare. It was significantly cheaper and we knew one if the women there do it was a plus. After a year and a half I quit my job as it was just not worth it for me to work anymore. I was working for health insurance and that was it. Daycare costs are just so high.
