Special Ed Preschool Verse Typical Nursery Class
My son just turned 3 and has significant speech delays. Primarily motorbplanning-apraxia. He is doing well in a typical nursery class but I am wondering if a program is better in an integrated or 12:1 setting for his speech and language development. He is able to transition well follow all directions and play and socialize but I worry that he is not using a lot of language in the classedom and speech 3 x a week and ot isn't enough. Do you think kids do better in speech in an integrated program or keep them in a gen Ed setting if they can handle it. Also thoufhts on millneck manor preschool?

Definitely a typical preschool. He would benefit greatly from his peers. I would ask for a SEIT though to shadow him and maybe she can integrate some speech into the normal playtime activities.
