My DH worked for Carvel for maaannnny years and he always tells me how they are fanatical about cleaning out the machines. I wouldn't worry about it at all. I am actually hoping we can get there tonight too. Enjoy your chemicals!

Can us preggos have soft serve ice cream?
I am getting some. I had a milkshake from the ice cream truck the other day. I also had a ham & swiss yesterday. This is my second. I didn't do this with my first LOL I went a little over the "everything in moderation" this week, but next week I will do better.

Haha you sound like me!! With my first pregnancy I was so to the book! This pregnancy I've had an Italian hero once or twice and am much more laid back and say everything in moderation!

They say no bc there can be lysteria lurking in the machines. But I still have the occasional mr Softee.

Now, people eat soft serve all the time and barely get sick so you can be as cautious as you want (I'm sure you'd be totally fine eating it) but that's technically the reason you may hear that we shouldn't have the soft serve and to stick with hard ice cream.

Yup. It's in all the food pretty much. And Blue Bell is hard ice cream I believe and they shut down production due to listeria.
