What do you use if you are grilling beef, pork, chicken or fish? What do you use for each?

In the spice isle, McCormick makes a bunch of different marinades. I usually buy a packet and marinate overnighr or starting in the morning. All kinds- brandy spice, wine and herb, mesquite, all have been good and u just mix them with water, oil and vinegars as directed

Re: Marinades

I recently tried marinating my chicken breasts in Ken's Salad Dressing- the Lite Asian Sesame Ginger one.

OMG

SOOOO delish!

I bet it would be great for steak too.

1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes

I use those McCormick packets too, but in omit most of the oil and just use vinegar and water and 1-2 tsp. olive oil.

For short ribs or skirt steak I marinade in a little balsamic, garlic, Worcestershire, A1 and soy/Tamari and fresh thyme. It's very rich and hearty

Re: Marinades

I'm obsessed with Lawrys Steak and Chop on steaks and pork tenderloin- especially skirt steak. My sons gobble it up. For fish tacos I usually just do it myself- vegetable oil, lime juice and either a mud if Mexican spices or you can cheat it with some taco seasoning. Chicken we usually just sprinkle adobo or sometimes marinate in either Lawrys or Italian dressing.

Re: Marinades

For London Broil:

One cup each of:
tomato juice
soy sauce
vegetable oil
brown sugar

tons of chopped garlic

marinate it overnight if possible. Throw it on the grill and microwave the remainder of the marinade and use it as a dipping sauce.
