I don't like themes so I went with a color scheme for DD1 and will do the same for DD2.
DD1's room is painted a lavender-gray color (more gray than lavender) with white furniture and pale pink and lavender accents.
DD2 we have picked out a gray and yellow bedding so her walls will be painted gray and yellow and she'll have white furniture.

DD's bedroom decor is Jacana by Cocalo -- I hated almost all the girl's bedding sets except for this one. I'm not super "girly" and didn't want ruffles, ballet slippers, princess crowns, etc. This is a nice soft pink/purple color. It was being discontinued but I was just in BRU and saw that they had restocked everything. Not sure if BBB carries it.

For my son, Nautical theme.... He has a 'boat' bed, dark furniture, decor such as a ships wheel, lifesaver etc on the wall. You can find all this stuff at Marshalls at really cheap prices.
For my daughter, no theme but we did matching colors to her crib set from Glenna Jean (isabella set). We layered in pinks with light grey and white. I love the airy feeling of her room....

I love seeing everyone's themes! We are having a boy and doing a Superman theme. Most of the stuff is from Etsy & Amazon.
