I know we are all different..but...
how long is the average IVF cycle?
I've had coworkers do 3 cycles, 6 cycles..just wondering what to expect if I decide to pursue this route.
my consult is not until mid july.

I'm confused by your question. Do you want to know how long one cycle is? Or how many cycles until it worked?

Really depends on your dr and protocol.
First ivf. Went in on day 3, 10 days of bcp, 3 days off, 10 days of stims HcG shot, day off then retrieval with a 5 day transfer
2nd. Went in on day 3, went right to stims for 8 nights, hcg day off then retrieval with 5dt
3rd- went in on day 3, started bcp for about 23 days, Lupron only for 2 days, lupron and started stims for 10 days, hcg, day off, retrieval w 5dt
1&2 were same dr, 3rd i saw a different dr

On cycles where I started with BCP, it was around 50 days from AF to AF.
On the cycle that I tried without BCP, it was about 30 days from AF to AF.
Hopefully yours will be from AF to BFP instead. :)

meaning how long one cycle takes approx. I know everyone's protocol is different..just wondering if its 3 months, longer, shorter.
my friend who did 3 cycles said it took a year and half.
just trying to get an idea of what to expect.

I also think it depends on what happens with the cycles. One of mine was a chemical and by the time they did all the checking of betas and then a d&c and then I had to wait 2 cycles to try again it felt like forever.

I know we are all different..but...
I haven't started mine but my sisters were always a month give or take a few days.
If the Dr puts you on BCP then they can be longer. Lupron can make it longer. But they def not are all 60 days +. And cycles can't really be back to back so there is time off in between.

for my fresh cycles it was 3 weeks on BCP, then about 10-12 days of stim, then ER/ET
Frozen cycle was much shorter...maybe like 2-3 weeks of estrace before ET
