First appointment
I have my first appt with an re on Monday. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect? Thanks so much!

Depending on cycle day they'll do a transvaginal ultrasound and most likely schedule you for a HSG test (see if tubes are blocked) and maybe a Saline Sonogram too (measure thickness of uterus). They'll also talk about family history for both you and your partner as well as semen analysis will be scheduled. I Google questions to ask and don't feel there are any stupid questions. May I ask who you are seeing?

Thank you. I'm going to see Dr. Palter. I also gave a consult scheduled with Dr. Cohen at LIJ Center for Human Reproduction, but I may cancel it depending on how Monday goes.

I've heard good things about him. I would have seen him but I couldn't wait 3 weeks for an appointment when I was switching my RE for insurance reasons.
