Hysteroscopy ?
I may have to go for this as well as an HSG to check my tubes.
What is the hysteroscopy like? am I put out for that?

They insert a thin lighted tube to examine the cervix and the inside of the uterus. You are put out for this, at least I was! You may have mild cramping when you wake up but it wasn't too bad for me. Good luck!

I had one while I was awake for diagnostic purposes- mild cramping because they were putting saline in but the test was quick. I had another one to remove left over tissue after d&c and I was out for that. Felt a little uncomfortable after....nothing horrible.

I need one too. How was going under anesthesia? Was it scary walking into an operating room?

This. Done in the Drs office, i saw everything on the screen. He explained what we were seeing and it was over with in minutes... some cramping but nothing you need to go under anesthesia for.

I have no answers b/c I havent scheduled anything yet. they are waiting for AF to start and call on day 1 to start tests.
My dr. doesnt do this test in his office though, I have to go to a different RMA Location to do it.
I have been put under before for wisdom teeth and to me anesthesia is the best sleep ever!!

Hysteroscopy ?
I had one where the put saline in, I was awake. I had an HSG prior to that and was fine, this test I found very uncomfortable with a lot more cramping. If I had to do it again I would prefer to be knocked out. good luck!

I was under for only 30 or 40 min I believe, I also had a lap surgery to remove endo at the same time. It was a little scary, however, the nurses are all so nice and make you feel at ease! I had no issues, and only mild cramping after.
