I wouldn't. By the time I reached 34wks I wasn't going anywhere further than a half hour drive. I was just too nervous about going into labor early in an unfamiliar place. I ended up needing to be induced a week after my due date, but I still won't risk it with #2 either because you never know.

I wouldn't, but that's just me. This past weekend we went to visit some friends in NJ (it's a 2 hr drive for us) and it kinda didn't feel comfortable doing it (I'm 39 weeks). On the next day, I was feeling a lot of pressure and mild cramps, I actually thought labor was starting but nope, thank goodness!

i had all 3 of my kids at 38 weeks. With my 2nd and 3rd i was having contractions for weeks prior.
Would i travel 3 hours away? yeah sure, but it would have to be for a good reason. Fly- no.
