hello! (and a possibly weird question)

Hi everyone! My husband and I are likely going to start TTC soon. We will be going on vacation from 9/28-10/3, and I figure that's a good time to get with the baby makin'. So, if I want to be ovulating during that week, when would I need to get my period? Basically I am trying to figure out when to stop taking my birth control pills so that I could theoretically get pregnant during that week. It's approx 2 weeks before, right?

(I'm sorry if this is a dumb/weird/basic question, and yes I know that cycles often take some time to adjust after coming off the pill)

I generally ovulate on CD15, with CD1 being the first day of your period.

Also, prime time to is like 1-3 days before you actually ovulate. You want those little guys to be up there waiting. So keep that in mind too.

It could take months to regulate after coming off the pill. You can try stopping about 2 weeks before your vacation, but you may be irregular for a bit.
