Gift for Daycare Teachers

Just curious, how much is an appropriate gift to give teachers at daycare? My DS is 9 months old, and has 2 full time and 5 part time teachers.

They are about to go on their summer recess and wanted to give them a thank you before we start the new year.

I only give at Christmas. It gets too crazy when you start gifting at other times of the year. If you want to do something for them I'd bring in bagels or something.

Are the teachers changing? If they are not changing I would wait until Christmas. If they are changing I would give a gift. We just found out my DD is moving to a new room and getting a new teacher. I am giving both teachers a money gift. I am debating between $50-$100. In your case the money can add up quickly so I would do what you can afford.

I'd just do gifts at Christmas or when DC moves up. I usually give $50 for main teacher. I give $25 to the main assistant and $10 to the floater.

I do gifts at Christmas and teacher appreciation day. And I inly do his main teachers.

I do 25$ for all teachers 4x a year, usually in gift card form. It's hard though, I have to save and buy little at a time

A friend in the same room as dd and I got them lunch (came out to $15 from each of us) as an end of the year thank you. They will have the same teacher in sept.

I'd do a gift when they change teachers. DS is moving up at the end of this month and I'm giving his two main teachers a $50 Amazon GC each. He LOVES them and I have a DD who may be in their classes in 2 years so I want to show them how much I appreciate them.
