Hair Coloring?
Soooo, I'm like a minute pregnant.  I mean, really. I got my BFP this Saturday. I wasn't planning to venture over to this board until my first OB appointment, but I had a quick question. I have an appointment for a cut and color this weekend. Should I cancel the color? Or maybe at least wait until I talk to my doctor? Thoughts?

I highlighted my hair from before I even knew I was pregnant right up until the end.
Highlights are a bit different though I think, since the bleach/dye sits on the foil and doesn't really sit soaking into your scalp.

im a pretty health conscious and cautious momma-to-be and i continued to get my hair colored.
my sister in law does my hair at her salon and got hers done the entire time.. all is well with her kiddies.
im more cautious of what i ingest.

Thank you! Yeah, it's all over color, not just highlights. I know I've heard some say no problem and some say don't risk it. I know it's a vain and silly thing to worry about in the grand scheme of things, but oh well. I'm vain and silly. I'm still on the fence.

I've been dying my hair my whole pregnancy. My doctor said it was totally fine even in the first trimester.

I dyed my hair the entire pregnancy. First appt with probably by 6-7 weeks.
I never thought 2x about it.

I didn't. My doctor is very much everything in moderation and when I asked about coloring she said not during the 1st trimester. I was surprised that she said it but I figured I would wait!.

Thanks everyone. I'm paranoid and with such varied information I think I'll just wait until the first trimester is over. I'd never forgive myself if something went wrong, even if that wasn't the cause. Or at least until I have my doctor's apptmt- it's only 2 weeks from now so I can look busted for a little while longer.
Thanks for the input, and I'm glad to hear that I can dye it later on without worrying! 
PS- I'm going to have 50,000 questions. I feel like I know nothing! And I'm sure my prego friend is already tired of my weird questions at random times like 6 AM! Love you D!
