Cooking for 60+ People
Recommend your favorite things to make when hosting really large crowds. Looking for easy to do ideas.
Currently I'm thinking of a taco bar thing but looking for additional inspiration.

I like the taco bar idea. You could also do Greek- different types of meat/seafood kebabs, Greek salad, lemon potatoes, pita and tzatziki.

Cooking for 60+ People
We just had a big BBQ for about 60-70 people. I made pulled pork and mac & cheese, and we also grilled burgers, hot dogs, chicken breast and peppers and egg plant. I also made a string bean salad and a quinoa salad

Baked ziti and chicken cutlets are my go to for large crowds - they're easy to reheat so you can make ahead and they're crowd pleasers.
I think the taco bar is a great idea as well!

Vodka Sauce - Easy to make the sauce ahead and refrigerate so you all you have to do is boil pasta before you serve.
I second chicken cutlets - but breading and frying cutlets for 60 - 70 people is A LOT of work before hand. Eggplant Parm is a crowd pleaser in my family too ......but again, breading and frying a LOT of eggplant to put it together. But once it's done, as easy to heat/serve day of dish.
I never thought of a taco bar - but that's a great idea !!

I always do baked ziti or lasagne, meatballs, sausage and peppers and crock pot chicken wings. For that many people, I'd probably get a hero too.

Re: Cooking for 60+ People
Def pasta. Either alla vodka or with garlic/oil/cheese. It's a staple for gatherings for me. Sausage and peppers. Easy. I use the round sausage wheel and cook everything on the grill.
I also love a taco bar. If you do that, I'd do trays of rice, black beans, refried beans, guacamole, a corn salsa. You could also do an assortment of things to make tacos with. For example, ground beef, shredded chicken or pork in a crockpot, grilled veggies if there's vegetarians (or whoever wants them lol). Also a crockpot of chili is nice and easy and goes with the theme as well. Def a big salad! A salad bar is also fun with an assortment of dressings and toppings.
