Recommend your vacuum for pet hair
I tried the Shark Navigator a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. I had gotten it a BBB and the manager told me they were going to be having the Dyson sale labor day weekend to switch it if I need to. I used the Shark for about two weeks and it sucked everything up pretty quickly. The suction powder is super powerful, it sucked up my kitchen rugs when I ran the vacuum as well. They were having a great sale so I decided to try the Dyson. Let me tell it was just not the same. I needed to run it over the same area twice as oppose to the Shark. The Dyson was lighter but less powerful. I didn't like the fact that the canister for the Shark was a bit more cumbersome to clean.

Recommend your vacuum for pet hair
We have two of the hairiest pets - a siberian husky and a himalyan cat. We use the dyson cinetic upright. I bought it from qvc, on sale, and could not be happier. The amount of hair that this vacuum picks up is unreal.

Recommend your vacuum for pet hair
I absolutely love my cordless dyson dc59. Since we need to vacuum often for my shedding lab.... I always hated bring out my corded vacuum. We've have it for last 2 years and also purchased it for my MIL who has pets

the Shark has some great reviews! It's much cheaper than the Dyson so I may look into that.

I had the shark first , and bought the dyson to keep down stairs so I didn't have to lug vacuum up and down all the time. I'm still lugging the shark around bc I like it much more

love love love our Dyson.. i think its called animal? it's purple.. and it has a special rotating hair-catching thingy in it.. haha sorry, i dont know off-hand the exact name or names of the parts
