Re: Kindergarten Snack Question
I put it in the same bag as lunch but label it with a big S so he knows it is for snack. So far, it seems to work.

I think every school is different, but I'm pretty sure the trend is to give Kindergartens the earliest lunch/recess period (usually 11:00 something)then they have snack in the afternoon. My DD has lunch at 11:30 and snack at 1:30.
I was so surprised at my dd school she doesn't each lunch until 12:50. I think is late. Snack is between 10:00-10:30 depending on the day.
dd has lunch at 115. they said its because right after lunch they ask to go home. so she has her snack in the morning. I send it in her lunch box because she buys lunch everyday. I was sending her with lunch but she was buying it so i just gave up and had her buy. hope she is eating!!

Re: Kindergarten Snack Question
I'm odd man out. DD doesn't bring a snack daily. Each day a different child is "snack leader" and brings in snack for the whole class. It's usually pretzels, grapes, crackers, etc. So basically approximately once a month I'll have to send in snack for 25 kids.
