I know ppl mean well, but...
I'm already tired of everyone and their mother coming up to me and:
1) tell me, "oh I just have a feeling you're having a ____!" I'm 7 weeks pregnant. You can't POSSIBLY know what I'm having at this point, person. It could be a panda bear in there for all you know. Leave me alone.
2) asking me about names. Again... SEVEN WEEKS. I have months to think about that AND I feel like its weird bad luck to pick a name before you even hear a heart beat. Call me crazy.
Ok vent over. I'm just in a mood b/c I ate two small fries from Mcdonalds today and I feel like a manatee.

Just wait till you pop and people start touching you and rubbing you while asking you these questions!
Or when they start giving you advice on how to raise your unborn child.
People are just annoying when you're pregnant.. 1st off bc they're just excited/happy for you and need to discuss it nonstop (at least it comes from a good place) and 2nd bc you're hormonal so you sort of want to kill people already anyways

Unfortunately this is just the beginning. People loooove to give advice and stick their nose in your business when you're pregnant. It's usually coming from a good place. Like you said, they mean well. But it gets old fast and it doesn't really stop. Hang in there!

At 7 weeks only immediate family knew. If I was sick, then I told people I was SICK! Nobody's business that early - especially if you haven't even heard a hb yet!

Yup. Everyone loves a pregnant lady! (Except on NYC subways during rush hour).
At this point I just smile and nod and take the name suggestions because we seriously have no idea at this point (31wks).
Hope you're not feeling too terrible though...the comments are extra annoying when you don't feel well.

I only stopped hiding my bump at work 2 weeks ago, at 26 weeks and that was because it was physically impossible to conceal it any more! I even avoid in person meetings so I don't have to tell more people.
I was SO sick I couldn't go to work. I said I had a bad kidney infection, was in pain and the antibiotics were making me vomit. Everyone bought it. I eventually told my boss at 13 weeks when I realized the MS wasn't leaving, but only her.
I'm sorry you're dealing with this- you're giving me palpitations thinking about it!

Is this your first? If so...Just wait! Anything you eat or drink people will say attributes to a certain gender. It's soooo annoying!! When I was 16 weeks (with twins) I still wasn't too big and my IL's all swore i was having boys based on how I was carrying and how my face hadn't changed. God forbid I ate anything sweet..or salty..or spicy!
I finally said "I liked sweet and salty things longgg before I was pregnant and my face looks the damn same!"
Guess what? They were girls and you were ALLLL wrong!

Wait until the second the baby is born -- before the doc can say, "time of birth: 2:44pm" people will start asking if and when you will be having your second

I swear this is SOOO true.
I think I still had stitches in my coochie when people started asking when I'd have another.
I was like dude- really? Can my vagina at least HEAL first?
