Re: How often do you boil bottle parts and pacifiers

Dd had a severe milk allergy so we were instructed to sanitize after every bottle use for the first few months.

Once she was a little older, I just boiled the pacifiers once every few weeks.

I used a steam sanitize pressure cook thingamabob lol made special for binks and bottles.

That was good enough for me :)

Once a month I throw everything into a big boiling pot of water on the stove with some white vinegar in it. It just makes everything not smell as bad, after awhile the smell of milk just adds up and everything looks yellowish.

Just after I took them out of the package. When I washed them I washed by hand in the hottest water I could stand.

I do the pacis every once in a while when I remember or after he is sick (unless I just toss them and get new ones).

Pretty much this- except when she would drop the pacifer someplace really gross- like a Dr's office- or some other kid would accidently take it and start using it Chat Icon then I would boil it for 5-10 min

Only the first time, taking them out of the packaging.

After that, I'll try to remember to put them in the dishwasher about once a week but I usually just hand wash.

I try every month.
It's only a few times in the scheme of a year.

I had a steamer cleaner for it. I used it for a couple of weeks. I put it away after that. I would only boil stuff if she was sick.
