Groin pain
Hi Ladies! I am 29 weeks with my second and I am having major groin and vagina (tmi) discomfort. When I get up from a sitting position I have to stand there for a bit before I start to walk. It feels like my whole area is bruised. I had none of this with my first. I am so uncomfortable and still have this whole trimester to go!
I slept with a pillow between my legs last night and I felt a little better this morning, but now as the day is going on I am uncomfortable again.
Anything I can for it?

Groin pain
im 30w with my 2nd and i have a similar issue. After sitting down for a while i feel sore, almost like i did the day after giving birth. It doesnt hurt to sit just when i get up.
Maybe a warm bath? i dont know. I am trying to sit in a more reclined position to see if that makes a difference.

I thought about a bath, too, but last time I took a bath while pregnant I got a y-infection. Yuck.
I walk like I just got off a horse! It's awful.
I hope you feel better!

Re: Groin pain
I had this with my 2nd pregnancy and now again with my 4th. My 1st and 2nd, now 3rd and 4th are pretty close together in age, so I'm not sure if that's the cause for it.
I haven't been able to find anything that helps except my seat warmer in my car lol, so maybe if you sat on a heating pad you might get relief. Hope you feel better!

Re: Groin pain
I had that a ton with my second pregnancy. I think your body just "loosens" up quicker to prepare for labor. Nothing I did helped it.

Re: Groin pain
Omg I had this m my second pregnancy. Every morning when I got out of bed, that first step was brutal. Like I broke my v. I finally said something to my ob and she said the v bone probably separated. I didn't even know that could happen until I mentioned it to a friend and she said she had that too

Groin pain
Had it with both pregnancies but the second was much worse. It went away almost immediately after the first was born but I'm still feeling the pain, 10 weeks after the second was born. Not as painful but definitely stiff after getting out of bed.

Re: Groin pain
I'm 30 weeks and have been dealing with the same thing for about a month. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I had the same thing with my 1st and 2nd pregnancy. My OB never really gave me an explanation but said its normal. I feel like I've been kicked in the crotch several times by the middle of the day. Hang in there!

Re: Groin pain
I had my doctor appointment last night and I mentioned this problem. She said it's very common with the second pregnancy to have groin pain, it's normal (which we all knew) and no there's really nothing to do for it, but take it easy when possible.
I hope we all feel better soon!

Re: Groin pain
I had this during my pregnancy and I saw my chiropractor. She did special adjustments to my pelvis and showed me stretches to do and it was a tremendous help.

Re: Groin pain
I had it with both too. I was told it could be from the ligaments loosening to prepare for birth, same reason your feet "grow".
