Evening Primrose
Has anybody ever tried this in past pregnancies?
Last time around, I had zero progress with DD and I tried many things. Spicy foods, pineapple, walks, stretches, sex, etc, etc. I still had to be induced at 41wks and even then there was no progress so it was a very long and stressful induction. I really want to avoid that this time around. I'm almost 37wks now and have zero progress so far. I know nothing worked with naturally inducing DD, but I figure it's worth trying something new at least. My friend said that taking some Evening Primrose pills worked for her. Anybody else try this and find it helpful?

I tried them as a suppository. It was very uncomfortable and did jack shit lol.

Re: Evening Primrose
That's a bummer. And no other responses so I guess it's either been unsuccessful or never tried.
I just talked to my doctor and she said it's safe to do so I'm going to follow the instructions and start them 3x a day orally. We'll see, I guess!! I've got to try something. Hoping so bad he comes on his own before (or on) his due date so that I can avoid not only being induced, but also having to be in the hospital over Christmas

Are you getting internal exams? My Dr stripped the membranes and it seemed to do the trick.

I've heard that works, but I thought you had to be at least 1 cm dilated for the doctor to do that. I'm pretty sure that's why my OB never did it with my last pregnancy. I NEVER had progress. Even at 41wks I still had only a finger tip dilation and it took forever for that to change even with pitocin. *sigh*

Evening Primrose
I started taking them at 36 or 37 weeks - vaginally - and ended up going into labor at exactly 38w.
