Went first appt today not sure how I feel
So went to first appt mainly for blood work and they did a urine test and said my line was faint there. I should be 5 w 5 days this scares me I did have some intermittent right sided pain this weekend but nothing horrific no bleeding. She is doing sono early thurs I'll be 6 weeks to put mind at ease. Should I be worried about faint line in scared.

you can't really tell my that- you need look at bloodwork from today and compare it to bloodwork a few days from now and see how the hcg is rising. If it is not rising properly, then your doctor will let you know if he/she is concerned

No, my beta was 1800+ and my line was faint in the office too.

YOu are still very early
Wait until your next appointment
I know easier said then done but try not to stress
At my second appointment - they put me behind by a week - I was freaking out but not I am almost 4 months along and everything is so far so good!!!

I'm surprised a line would be faint with a beta that high. I only had a faint line when my beta was in the 100s. Maybe the test was defective? Hoping all goes well for you next week!

I would only be concerned w/ the beta number and not the urine test, you never know if it could have been a faulty test

A faint line is a line. It's still early! That's probably why most Dr's don't make the first appt until 8 weeks or so.

I had no heartbeat at 5 weeks, 5 days (and a faint line). I thought for sure that was the end of things. I went back at 6 weeks and a few days and all was good! I am now 30 weeks :) Good luck!

Very true. Most doctors won't see you until you're at least 8 weeks. With my youngest I didn't have my first OB appointment until 9 weeks.
