Has anyone been here? Both my DS and DD are obsessed with Legos and I figured this should be a fun day. They are 5 and 7. Thoughts? Is there somewhere nice to get dinner around there?

We were there last year. GET THERE EARLY! It got crowded, too crowded by 1pm. There were a few places to eat. I forget the name of where we went to but it was very close.

It's a lot of fun but definitely get there early! We went last year during a school break(during the week) and purchased our tickets in advance. People were turned away that didn't purchase tickets ahead of time! The center is located right near an open air mall/shopping center that has some food choices.

It's not as busy now as it was when it first opened. We went in October on a Saturday and it wasn't bad at all. My kids enjoyed it, I thought it was adorable, and reasonably priced. The complex that it's in has a ton of places to eat. We ate at the organic burger type place, they had awesome milkshakes.

We went yesterday and it was a madhouse in the morning. They were sold out, so buy tix in advance.

Honestly, for the price, I was not that impressed with what they had to offer. The ride lines were not that long, but they moved so slow!

I thought the Crayola Factory was much better, but that's a bit of a hike for a day trip.

As others said, lots of nice places to eat there. We went to 5 Napkin Burger.

Thanks for the info! I plan on taking them in the upcoming weeks. As long as it revolves around legos, the kids will be thrilled. We did the Crayola Factory last winter and the kids loved it! I assumed they would be similar.
