The Bad and the Ugly!

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and would like to educate myself on what to expect.

My beta on 1/6 confirmed I was pregnant. I was told my initial number was 40 and that it likely wasn't viable. 1/8 my beta doubled to 83.
1/10, I started bleeding. I am still on progesterone and when I called yesterday they told me to come in this morning for more bloodwork. I am pretty sure it's a chemical pregnancy. If it is, would this bleeding also be AF? Or will the miscarriage cause bleeding and then AF comes later?

for me after the IVF cycle, HCG started at 26 and went to 10, I was told to stop the crinone suppositories, i started bleeding 2 days later. It was definitely heavier than a normal period, but then I didnt get AF again until 30 days later. So just be prepared..you'll probably bleed heavily for few days and then get back to a regular cycle. (hopefully).

Thanks. I'm totally in beta hell. Bleeding pretty heavy and beta keeps going up. My RE is on vacation this week, but the nurse keeps telling me it could take another week or two until they know for sure.
she is still confident it's not viable.

maybe you have a hematoma or something? the beta is still going up?? it could still be viable.
