Cabin fever. Ideas for being stuck indoors?
Day 4 of being stuck indoors. We have made rice crispy treats, chocolate covered strawberries, colored, studied, read, decorated a gingerbread house, mosaic sticker crafts, ice fishing, science experiments and kumon workbooks. Kids have gone out to play in snow several times. We have brought snow indoors to play. We all have colds and prefer to keep them indoors today.
Our street has not been plowed so we are stuck indoors.
Any more ideas?
DH was on call this weekend so he spent 2 nights at the hospital so I've been basically trapped indoors with kids alone.

My kids sometimes build a fort by throwing a blanket across the couch and then I give them "supplies"-they could play with a flashlight for hours. Lol.
Or other crafts-they painted yesterday for a really long time (probably bc I so rarely do it bc I hate the mess). Play dough is another big hit.

I like this idea. They play with pillows and blankets all the time but this is a spin on it.

Dance party!
We have that dance game on Xbox. Forgot about that. I just have to figure out how to turn on an xbox game. Should be easy enough. I will dance with the boys.

Cartoons, movies. Something that will keep them occupied for a few hours at a time and in between maybe games they can play.

I have been mixing in movies, shows and board games. They are watching tv now.
The day is soooo long when you are trapped inside. We are usually out and about.
