Stopping the swaddling
Any advice on how to do it? My son is breaking out of his miracle blanket every night so I think it's time to just end it. We tried cold turkey and he wakes himself up after like 20 minutes. Has anyone tried the Merlin suit or the love to dream sleep sack?

Stopping the swaddling
My first was swaddles til about 5 months. I transitioned by swaddling arms out - I think it was a halo sleep sack swaddle.
My second was never really swaddled but I have a Merlin suit for her for when I finally move her to her crib which will hopefully be this weekend.

Stopping the swaddling
Our LO was breaking out of the miracle blanket at around 4/5 months old, so we did the one-arm-out swaddle for a week, and then transitioned to the halo swaddle me, both arms out and the swaddle part wrapped tight around the belly for a feeling of security. She did really well. It was much less painful than we thought it would be. I did try the merlin sleep suit for naps around the same time - some naps I thought it was working, and others it seemed to do nothing so we stopped using it pretty quick. At 8 months, we have now transitioned her to the halo sleep sack and its all good... :)
