Q about making chocolate lollipops
I am planning on making 60 chocolate lollipops as favors (attempting this for the first time). I was wondering how far in advance I can make them and they would still be good? I was thinking about making a few batches at a time spread out through a few weekends. Tia.

They will be good for about a year. Are you using a single color? if you are doing multiple colors they may start to not look as good in a few months depending on where you store them!

Q about making chocolate lollipops
I think they'll be good for a while kept cool but you may find that just getting them done in one or maybe two shots is easier all around. If you have a few molds then you can get in a bit of a groove letting them harden and then repouring new ones. For me once I start and have everything out its easier to get a bunch done at once.

Agree. If you have multiple molds, it won't take you long to make them

Keeping them at room temp is better. Do not store them in a cold area. When you make them pour the mold and put them in the freezer until they harden, then take them out, bag them and store them at room temperature.

Re: Q about making chocolate lollipops
Great thank you, I have 4 molds with three in each mold so I can make 12 at once. Was thinking of doing the 5 batches spread out, good to know I can make them that far in advance! It's regular milk chocolate molds

Re: Q about making chocolate lollipops
They will last for a while easy, but I am going to recommend just doing them all in one day. It will save you time over all since you will only have one mess to clean up as opposed to a few, to me that is the hardest part of chocolate making.

this exactly. kept in a cool, dry place they will last a while. once it starts to get warm out (which is not the problem here) you start to get the white "bloom" on them.
make them at once with 12 pops at a time 5 rounds to do 60 will go in no time. heating up the chocolate and cleaning up the mess is annoying to do more than once.

They don't take long to harden so fill one pop it in the freezer and then fill the next. You will be able to do a few batches fairly quickly.
