first appointment - update
I missed my period last week and got a positive pregnancy test. I went to my Dr today to get blood taken and she kept saying the numbers might be low bc it's so early. Should I had waited to call my dr? When did everyone else go to their 1st appt?
Update...my numbers are right around where they were for my son at this point in pregnancy. Made an appt for a son in two weeks

8 weeks is usually "standard" for first appointment, non high risk people.

Re: first appointment
I was 7w3d and that was even a little early. 8 weeks is pretty standard. I was never told my "numbers" though since they were able to hear and see the heartbeat with an internal sonogram.
ETA: Did the doctor say how far along you might be? When was your last period?

Went at 5 weeks for an internal which showed the sac in the right spot, and blood work --two days later it came back "good", going back at 7 weeks to hopefully hear a heartbeat Congratulations! When is your due date?

Ditto - both times. At 8 weeks they should be able to hear & see the heartbeat, so no need for blood work.
