I am pretty sure there is someone from my sd on one of those pages.... I asked for information on there and it got back to my sons school... Lets just say I feel very uncomfortable walking in there now.... I now know to not ask certain questions or give out too much info...

I would use an alias FB account to post your questions. I'm sure they do lurk on all of those pages!

All the districts are on the pages. You have every right to ask your questions, I would just never use any names. The same thing happened to me on a secret private FB page for my district. A parent printed out something I wrote and send it to admin. I was pissed and told administration that they have no right to even question me about it and I gave that parent a piece of my mind. They have removed and blocked from every site I'm on now. But that was a lesson learned for me. Never put anything in print you don't want getting out. Sorry it happened to you. Totally sucks!!

Wow that's really ******. Why would they even care if you're asking for advice? Can you report that to some higher department within the state? That's not right. We are always told that we are the biggest advocates for our children .. And them doing things like that is disgusting. I'm sorry you had to go through with that.

Yes I realized that there are lurkers or other parents that "rat out" others to the school district, so I am hesitant to post questions on there anymore. Which is a shame because I feel like these boards exist so that we can all help one another.
