Can you do PGD/PGS testing on frozen embies?
Our one fresh cycle, we did ICSI but didn't do PGD/PGS (BFP) and have 6 frozen embies. I don't know why but I feel like I want to test the remaining ones. Can that be done now? Thank you!

I can't imagine why not... I thought they only sent frozen embryos for PGD/PGS.

Yes, however, that means your frozen embryos will be thawed, biopsied, and frozen again, then thawed when you eventually decide to use them. The end result is it decreases the implantation rate. Also, I'd personally want to know the long term effects on a embryo that has gone through that much trauma. I don't think there's enough data on babies born under these circumstances. Ultimately though, it's a matter of weighing out the risks and benefits and then choosing what you're most comfortable with.

If you think about it, blinding putting back embryos vs putting back ones you know are genetically normal will HELP the chance of the embryo implanting, so perhaps in the end it all levels out-- but my biggest concern would be the lack of data on long term effects. It could be fine. I'd want more info.

The do not use frozen embryos. You do IVF. You decide if you are going to do PGS or PGD with a quick turn around to transfer right away. Or you decide to do the testing without the rush, freeze your embryos and do a FET later.
I did testing and chose to do FET just to give my body a break. My RE was happy as sometimes they need extra time to do the testing.
They biopsy the embryo 5 or 6 days old and then only freeze it if you are not doing a fresh transfer. At least that was what was done for me.

I hear ya I did PGD on frozen embryos and CGH on a fresh cycle. PGD..,PGS...CGH... They all check for genetic abnormalities, the difference is the amount of information they provide. At least that's my understanding. Of course, you also get more info from a day 5 vs day 3, if you are fortunate enough to have embryos that make it to that stage.
We checked my frozen embryos when we were doing surrogacy because with all the money we were spending already, we wanted to be sure we were transferring back embryos that were genetically normal to take away any risk that it may not work- well- at least any risk we had control over! Since they were previously frozen at day 5, they were biopsied at that stage.
The fresh cycle where we did CGH, we tested at day 3 with the intention of doing a day 5 transfer. We put back 2 chromosomally normal embryos and while both took, we lost one at 7 weeks or so. I learned from that that it's NOT foolproof. However, since I had success with it, I'd do it again in the future. A little extra info can only helps.

What Jackie said. I did banking for what seemed like forever. Three cycles, freeze two and on the third i ended up with 12 embryos. Five of those made it to day five and PDG, aCGH. Out of those, two came back as normal. So yes, it can be done.
